What it is

Each day brings five chains, the same for everyone. Every chain has a start and a goal — a footballer and a fashion house, a painter and a sports final — and you get from one to the other through real, documented connections.

It is a puzzle about knowledge and planning: knowing small facts, and spotting which one heads toward the goal.

Why shortest-link puzzles are so satisfying

A connection puzzle gives you a clear target and an open route. You always know where you are going, but not how — so every step is a small decision, and the shortest route rewards real insight rather than luck.

Finding a link nobody else spotted, or matching the par in fewer moves than you expected, is what makes one more chain hard to resist.

Built from real-world relationships

Every link on a Daily's official route is a fact with a source. After each chain you can read why each link holds; at the end you get a short list of things you learned. We keep the links factual and avoid gossip.

Fair by design

Every card you are shown can still reach the goal within your moves. Each Daily is checked before it goes live and is then frozen, so it plays the same for everyone all day.
